awards giving was a bit random and disorganised

Thank you to the Race Director for her excellent organisation which produced an excellent event.

Thank you to the water stations and the Marshalls for their kind words all the way round in very hot weather.

Just simply put…. A grand day out in the Essex Countryside.

I've only done a few marathons but I really enjoyed this one. The drinks drop off worked really well and all the volunteers were superb around the course.

All Marshalls out on the course were supportive and encouraging. Tough race, beautiful scenery

Great communication with race director throughout / great good bag!/ great medal and T-shirt / great facilities to leave bottles at drink stations - best all round event I have attended in 15 years! Course is undulating and the weather is always going to be hot in May- but runners already know this.

nothing could realy make it better,but when its a hot day like today its a struggle,but finishing is the best feeling,knowing you earnt that medal.i loved the choice of getting tiyr own race number after doing 10 halsteads,i had '0' shame its stopped now.

Extremely well organized. Marshals and water stops were full of energy and could appreciate what we runners were going through.

For hot days, bottled water at drinks station is much better than cups to help get water onboard

I love this course was harder this year 2025 due to the heat. But the marshalls was all amazing. From start to finish wow
